bloodletting, for couples.

Chris is 100% right- it's better to break the rules than to get a chainring to the shin.

Last night Ben and I attempted to work out a way to do a left-side bike swap, but it just doesn't work. On the first attempt, we sorta failed. Second attempt, Ben stepped into the wheel of the bike he was getting off and fell onto it, gashing his knee. Third attempt, I took a chainring to the shin in a massive way. We've decided the left side handup just isn't possible, because with the left side dismount, it means the bike he's getting off needs to cross in front of him before he remounts. (blue=him, red=me, green=bikes) Not happening. I'll be standing in traffic on the right instead.

From the right side though? Smooth as butta. I find it's better to hold the top of the steerer instead of the hood, though, since it's less likely to turn the bars when Ben grabs it.

This morning I wanted to not run, since I drank a healthy bit with teammates last night. But I've always believed that drinking should never get in the way of other life doings, so I got myself out the door and ran 5 in my new knickers. (That's the American kind- tights that stop just below the knee- not the British kind.) Even though I wasn't pushing at all, I finished with an average under 10:00. I love this cool weather.

Your graphic looks like an old-school video game I used to have, love it!

Kick butt this weekend!

I too was going to comment on the sweet graphics. Then I also went to your knickers link, which may not have been the best idea at work, but they had some nice "graphics" as well. Theyre idea of knickers is far far superior.
