This rain is starting to creep into my skull. I miss sunshine.
Ben rode his B-bike (June, of the Johnny and June duo) at a muddy wet rainy cross practice this morning and everything went well. Huzzah. I decided to run down to the practice (it's nice to have a destination) and saw first Jeff and then Kevin leaving before I even got there. The weather sort of sucked. Ben's riding his powertap with clincher cross tires and it turns my stomach a little to see him plow through foot-deep mud puddles with that hub. I know the early models definitely had problems with bad weather but supposedly they're over that now. Anyone?
We're sitting here having a sort of slumber party, staing up past our bedtime so Ben can register for CX nationals. We already reserved a superbig room at the waterpark. Yay waterpark! To pass the time tonight as we wait we watched a very bad movie, then the ending of an even worse movie, and now we're watching whatever we can find. I should make popcorn. I'm thinking of asking Ben to play Scrabble, but we're sorta mismatched players. I love him dearly but my husband cannot spell.

looks like it was worth staying up!
Not mine either. Maybe you and I should play during a happy hour some time.
I was talking to a guy in Madison who works at Saris. He said he rode his powertap all last 'cross season and never had a problem. Knock on wood!
You guys should play dominos - it's fun. Scrabble can be fun too, if you play like porn scrabble, or cussword scrabble.
Hope you can get your roof patchedup. I am so pissed the insurance company isn't picking up.
