We didn't get in till 3:30am local time, and there were loud people in the hotel hallway by 6:30am. It was a long drive through some godawful boring terrain that forced UFO jokes.
I spent some quality time in the shower this morning with Ben's A bike. He didn't wash it after racing last weekend. Far better to be warm and indoors than to be cold outside washing the bike, even if it leads to unintended intimacy.
We went to get beer today, and we had to go to a place called The Beer Store. I walked in and immediately thought, Strange Brew! "I'll have 24 Elsinore." Really, though, you ordered from the dude who had a mic, and then the beer came through the wall on a little rolly conveyor. No way, hosers!
The weather forecast says 40% of rain this afternoon.

Wow, I thought I was the only person who washed my bikes in the shower! And yes, it does lead to a whole new level of bike intimacy ;-)
i wash my dogs in the shower a few times a year. no big deal. have fun julie!
