it's only December and already this weather is totally under my skin. i want blue skies, but i sort of don't, since that would only mean it's colder outside. the sidewalks were sandboxes this morning, drowning in 6" of the iciest snow/sleet mix. snow is lovely when you're in the countryside. in the city, it's grey and slushy and ugly about 2 minutes after it hits the ground.
I was thinking of starting the disassembly of Jonny and June, the Rock Lobster bicycle duo, but a hard day at work, a half bottle of wine, and Ben's freshly baked ginger snaps led me astray. I am getting sucked in to 30 Rock, it's a smart show. Meanwhile, the bikes are getting to know eachother on top of the couch in the back room, and they seem happy.

I just spent over an hour shoveling the studio parking lot. Southern Oregon has finally lost its mild winter luster, as we got slammed with 6+ inches at 2200 feet. So I'm totally with you. I say it's time to become a snowbird and move to warmer climates in winter.
I completely understand sacrificing work for 30 rock. It's one of the few shows I care to watch.
i am totally with you on this year's winter. and cinti is nowhere near as bad as chicago. i am just not into it so much.
