Working Sunday means you get not one but two Mondays! Plus, a new bonus- being asked after I get to DC whether I can stay for a few extra days. Through Friday. Would have been helpful to know before I packed, but who can say no to any request when layoffs are staring us down? This entire event has become a staff b!tchfest. Srsly.

I'm working hard though. Mileage is starting to top off around 40/week, I'm turning off the negatives and narrowing the noise to what I need and what I want. Measuring by goals and not superlatives.
