It's official. Nobody reads this anymore. Which is a relief, in a way... nobody to please but myself! Anyway...
I got a rain hat because I walk to work, and it's often too windy for an umbrella. I was in Omaha when it came so I asked Ben to model it. Isn't he handsome? Isn't the hat practical? I like practical. Hold the Long John Silvers jokes, please. Naturally I got it where any normal person would get a sea shanty-style hat from: Rivendell.
Yesterday my flight was delayed (of course) so I drank approximately 4 beers in the airport, and made friends the way you only can when shiney in an airport bar. The carb loading worked, though, and I turned in my pace run this morning at 30 sec faster than pace. This weekend's 20 should be staring me down but isn't. I'm just not focused on the running this time around. I do it, I'm still at 100% of the workouts, it's just not what I think about.
What I do think about is FOOD.

RSS killed the web stats star. If you're concerned about hits, just publish a teaser to your RSS, forcing people to click through. By the way, Sarah is coming up to check out the bike I put on my blog - thanks for the referral! I hope it works out for her.
that would be truly awesome! Sarah's more of a trackstar, but a good roadie would help her training tons.
I read your blog! I'm just horrible about posting comments.
I was thinking Gordons Fisherman, but Long John Silvers works too.
I still read it. Your blog is in my bicycle folder. Use feedburner for your feeds, that way you still get stats, but people can read the full post in their reader.
what do you mean no one reads your blog?
