saw a 3" spider on a trail between beaches, along with a 3' long monitor lizard. Yesterday we snorkeled and saw 4' sea turtles and 4' sharks. (O man, I hate sharks.) Along with Nemo and his many friends, and some pretty funky looking fishes. Today we arrived in Taman Negara (the rainforest) and we're seeing butterflies with 6" wingspans and lizards everywhere and 1" long ants. So much nature.

really though. We had dinner on a riverboat/barge/restaurant watching the locals pilot their long narrow boats up and down the river. There are canopy walkways made of cable bridges, boatrides to waterfalls, hiking trails out to animal-attracting salt licks. It's a lot of nature.
