The storefront of the new Half Acre brewery opened yesterday, so not to miss the first day, Ben and I took the trek to the Northerly parts to check it out. I was so excited (and still am!) for them. It's a beautiful space and they're selling some delicious beers. They really feel like a family, and Half Acre Cycling is part of their extended family, as is all of the Chicagoland community, and it's all so welcoming and warm and happy. Expect great things. Including the love.
We've reached that painful week where the sun wakes up after we do, making our bed a little more magnetic, delaying the morning run those five or ten precious minutes and shaving a mile off the distance in exchange for for a little more time with Ben and Molly and warm covers. I've been running just 5k every morning, and off-gizmo, so I don't even know my pace. They're runs for Molly, not for me. But this weather is perfect for the job, and I don't seem to mind much.
