falling off the horse.

I missed my run this AM. I didn't sleep well and just couldn't get out of bed. I think I am actually overdoing it with the 5 days a week of running and 2 of cycling, so rather than beating myself up over missing workouts, I'm going to modify. I need more off days. This should be ok if not fun. This shouldn't be stressful.

Ben and I have been watching very much television lately. I am a big fan of the Food Network; he prefers the Discovery Channel. I hate how the Discovery shows glorify raping nature of all there is- shows about mass fishing, clearcut logging, stealing crabs from their cosy underwater homes... makes me sad.

Do you have a coach? I don't think a coach would schedule this much work for you.

sounds like your body is telling you that you need to add rest to your schedule. Be WARY of the overtraining syndrome that curses so many of us :)

If I blow off a workout, I'm guilty for about 5 minutes, but I'm pretty good with it after that. Do some pushups or go for a long walk with Molly if you feel you need to do something.

You deserve some days off for your day off.
Work on that.

I was just extolling the benefits of the Food Network to my dad tonight. He wasn't sold, but I, for one, think he's missing out.
