the leader is great.

blame the sleep deprivation, but I can't help but get teary-eyed. i've worked for a lot of candidates, seen my fair share of empty promises. but Obama thanking our members for what they've done and will do to make him the first Black president of this here nation... hot damn. it makes you want to have grandkids just so you can say to them, "yes, we did that."

i drank the kool-aid.

i was up at 5:30 to run another interval workout this morning. i learned this week that there are fewer GPS sattelites over Puerto Rico than we have in Chicago, and I was through 2 intervals before the gizmo even found me. I was really surpised that 5k pace was easy to hold even in the heat and humidity. I think I'm ready to roll.

tomorrow, home, finally.

Yeah, I'm kind of drunk on the Kook-aide as well.

I've got to hand it to you for getting your runs in when you travel. I know you travel often, so its a lot more important for you to not skip them, but it still takes so much dedication. Good Job!
