after three weeks of relatively flawless travel, the shit hit the fan today. flight delayed for more than 3 hrs before canceled... sitting in o'hare for hours... arrive 4 hours late... watch bag belt for 70 min before it's clear that the bag is lost*... cruella deville at the rental car company not letting me refuse the upgrade to an SUV... what was supposed to be a noon arrival with bag and little car and at the office by 1 became no bag arrival to the hotel at 7pm after having to get in a shouting match to get my little car... and i'm sitting here without my bag still.
a bottle of wine and a 28th floor room with a strip view, just sitting here, hoping my bag arrives. if it makes it tonight, i'll hit red rock tomorrow morning. if not... argh.
*Since I need BodyGlide to run in the desert, and since it comes in a deodorant stick too large for the 1 oz carry on rule, if I'm going to run here, I have to check a bag. Which SUCKS.

Sorry you had such a crappy travel day. Sometimes it seems like nothing goes right. I hope things look up tomorrow (and I hope the airline gets you your bag tonight).
Btw, you should check out the smaller sizes of body glide. Mine is only .45 ounces.

I saw your post and I'm sorry you had a bad experience, too - because you should have no troubles carrying your Bodyglide through security and onto the plane! That's because, though it is in a familiar looking container, it's a solid, and solids are allowed. I carry all sizes with me when I travel, and I carry them on. Occasionally, because I carry so many, someone will ask, and I tell them it's really a great product! So, next time, carry it on!

Actually I'm pretty sure it is real if you do a google blog search he seems to reply to every blog post about bodyglide.
I hear your kind of travel drama at work all day long. Why were the flights delayed? Weather? Poor thing Julie. Hang in there and soon you'll be home again.
