Ben's brakes finally came last night, the one night I got home from work and turned around right away to go out. Bah. This morning, though, I threw them on the posts just before running out the door, always loving the smell of Phil grease in the morning. Tonight, we will have bikes!
Amanda, Audrey and I rolled up to the track for closing night, since the trackies came to support us at Palos we owed them at least this. Dave, Tim, and Adrian raced in sexxxy skinsuits. Adrian pulled off a placing in the Danish and all the guys stuck with the pack for great finishes. There were a ton of us out there to support them, and we had like 8-10 teammates hanging out and shouting along. The team love. We feel it.
I had completely forgotten that the last night of the season is the officials' race, and although I was repping the team, they insisted I take to the line. Now, my original plan for this year was to race, but there I was, my first time on the track this year, without my schmancy bike, wearing clogs and kneesocks. Ha! Either way, it was a fun time and I finished third. That result's going on the team site.

Am I too old to get away with wearing kneesocks? They are soooo cute. You look adorable.
kneesocks are ALWAYS ok!
Those socks are awesome!
Ben should have some like that for cross.
