being german.

Ben's brakes STILL haven't come- this is rising to the level of "problem" or "issue"- so I took the opportunity instead to go with Emily to an open-bar Oktoberfest. I mean, it was like a warmup for the real German event we're hitting in Milwaukee with my family on Saturday. I drank, and then I remembered: I am German and I love to polka.

All dignity aside, I think I was the only one dancing. Emily wasn't real big on it, so I started pulling strangers from the crowd. I was wearing a very short skirt, I guess.

After that, I stumbled (ok, rode my bike) to Jonny's Icehouse to watch Lisa take some dude down - really, it was awesome- in the first period. Then we had to leave because it was quite late- sorry about that Lisa. Naturally when we got home I started working on assembling our new dining set, resulting in a very tasty blood blister on my thumb.

I headed out to run this morning because Molly insisted. I pulled off three somehow. Beer is not good for morning motivation.

Oh man! You just made me really jealous. I haven't been there since 95. Do they still do beer in the 64oz buckets? Last time I was there, Pabst, Miller, Lite were $6/bucket and Hacker-Pschorr Octoberfest was $6.50.

Have fun and enter the beer drinking contest. You just might be able to win.
