It's like the first day of spring, when the weather goes from miserable to sunny and the snow starts to melt. We escaped the bush years with our reproductive freedoms intact, our civil liberties cracked but not broken, and a real possibility of fixing what's wrong. After squeezing in a morning run over the WI hills, I sat on the couch with my mom and we cried our eyes out, leaving me with that raw/tired feeling for the rest of the day.
This morning I got up early to fit a 6 mi pace run in (and the resulting dog bath) before work. I managed to finish faster than pace by more than :07/mi. I'm still not doing what I should do on these pace runs, which is teach myself how to run at pace.

i wish i could have enjoyed watching yesterday's news w/o a certain someone ruining it for me. we finally had a blow out this morning and he was told to shut it for good. he apologized and it's gonna be ok.
pace runs in ice and snow can't be easy julie. you are doing great.
Open a window and enjoy the fresh air.
