the Chicago Police worked for me.

A usual morning, a usual run, the usual jerkface in fancy car on phone nearly hitting Molly and I.
"GET OFF YOUR EFFING PHONE!" I hold my hand to my face, making the universal sign for phone, just in case he can't hear me.
I get back to it and as we clear the intersection, I hear a siren, right next to me. There was a police car at the intersection, too, which I hadn't noticed. They pulled the driver over. For driving while on the phone? For not waiting for pedestrians in the crosswalk? I don't know, but either way, that was awesome. Totally unexpected.

That happened to me in DC one time. Waking across the street in a crosswalk, almost being hit, with dog. Some time the police rock. Only some times.

I swear I notice more people on phones while driving since it became illegal in Chicago.
