Palos, 6:30am.

Al took this photo of the group ride he was on this morning. I wasn't on it, since I was riding solo, all slow and pokey, the way I'm used to. I cleared out all the cobwebs for those fast guys, though, so it all worked out. There's still a cobweb stuck on my glasses and it looks cool if you notice it. I was the only one who had to work today, and poor Ben had to leave early to get me to the office.

I think Ben felt bad after reading my sad, sad post yesterday and decided to make it possible for me to ride trail today. I am working 12 days in a row, 12 mornings I have to wake up, so I guess this was the only way to do it. The trails were dry and fast, and aside from 2/3 of the ravines, I rode it all. Woot. Zoom. The creaking in my headtube is getting worse, though. Time to pull and re-press the headset and hope that works.

Hope you all have a great weekend. I'll be standing in the 90 degree sun at crits both days. Say hi.

Wow, pulling the headset ... drastic move. You sure it's not just bearings?

And is there a reason I'm pulled off the blog roll?

Sorry Chris- i lost the entire roll when i migrated, so i might have just missed ya!

yeah, that creaking isn't a bearing problem. It's in the tube. I really hope it's the headset pressing...
