Sprung.

It's a big week in the Popper household. You can smell spring coming and even Molly is just itching to get outside and do something. All the spring projects are coming to fruition in the next few weeks, I've got a half marathon on the calendar, and things are just moving along the way they should. I'm happy, and barely exhausted.

Audrey's in for more surgery today. Send some good vibes/thoughts/prayers/etc her way, if you would.

Women's road clinic is a week from Saturday, crits start in just 12 days. I'm far calmer and more together than last year, and my teammates are really stepping up to take on huge chunks of the work, which is great. We've also already scheduled a women's CX clinic for Sept 11, but that's so far away that we aren't even thinking about details on that yet. Just lots going on.

I kicked out a 5 miler yesterday morning, seeing as how it was supposed to be the last un-rainy weekday. Last night, I did the workout DVD full of squats and glutes, leaving my legs burning this morning. Tonight, trainer class.

I'm trying to settling into running 3-5-3-10 each week, and with the 12 I did a few weeks ago, I should be ready for the half... execpt for those hills. I totally forgot until yesterday that this is supposed to be one of those killer hill races. Huh, I guess we'll take it as it comes. I've never run a half before, but my half splits for my marathons have been 2:26 and 2:29, so I know I'll be in under 2:30, as long as those hills don't kill me. In the past I've had 2:15 in my mind, but I have been quite slow this winter.
