Two things:
My Spot was stolen. It looks like this.. It was locked in out West Loop garage space w two cables and under a muslin tarp. Funny thing, it was locked in a stack w Ben's 2 Cx race bikes and my custom Jonny Cycles commuter. They took just the Spot- it was on the outside- and the two cables. Left the other 3 bikes there unlocked. Huh.
Also, I tried my first race for the year yesterday. Um, fail. Tell you about it later.

totally sucks sucks sucks about your bike. must have only been one person there or else they would have stolen the rest. so bummed for you.
as far as the race sucking, well considering you haven't been able to get your HR up for 8+ months, that would probably mean your 1st race would suck, and hurt really fucking bad. but fuck it, now all you gotta do is work to get ahead.
