Yeah, the more time I spend on the couch, the more I want to get out there and work out! After a week of lazing around- I think I ran a total of just 12 mi last week- this week for some reason the "game on" instinct kicked in. Tuesday, run 4. Wednesday, 50 min computrainer. Thursday, run a fast 3. Friday, 90 min computrainer. Today I'll run again, tomorrow I'm scheduled for more computrainer time. What the hell is up with that?
Marathon training v.2.1 starts Monday- that might be part of it. Right now I still have "options." As of Monday, I have a plan to stick to. I'm enjoying the team computrainer time for now, so why not roll with it? I'm calling it v.2.1 because it's my third time training for a marathon- first time I finished the race, but the second time I trained up to 18mi - just 2 mi short of the longest training distance- and found the wedding pressures were too much to handle with the long distances and stopped. So, although this is my third time doing the first 12 weeks or so, we'll call this v.2.1. Can't count it when you don't finish.
Aside from that, Ben and I have been exercising our netflix options. Last night after group computrainer time (wherein Ben beat us all over a 24 miler by like 10 minutes) we picked up some Mexican food in Pilsen and then went to see Lisa's game at Jonny's Icehouse with Dan, Audrey, and Chris and had a good time. We're being social again. I missed that.
