It's true, CX is drawing near.

Without the last-minute panic of putting two bikes together for Ben, things haven't been quite as dramatic this year. We have gore cables in hand, but I'm waiting for the matching hoods and tape before those go on. Aside from that, most of last year's stuff will work fine, and my job doesn't really start till Vegas. Woot.

Among the new developments for this year, though, solutions to last year's problems:
- Gore shifter cables should eliminate the weekly need to re-cable.
- A handheld cordless inflator will be more precise on the PSIs.
- Still looking at solutions for washing but not too concerned- the lines were a scramble, for sure, but it never held us back.
- Investing in a $15 rubber rain suit, since let's face it, in CX season rain and mud go hand in hand with COLD. And rubber works fine in those conditions.
- We still need to order like 348972459 derailler hangers. Because.

If you look at Ben's schedule, on the left of his blog, I'll be out riding the trail bike in the 4's at the ChiCrossCup races he goes to. That'll be more actual times on the line than ever for me. No, I'm not working the pit for those races! Unless needed... I'm approaching this as just good times, riding is just icing.
